Enea Bastianini secures a podium at the Austrian GP

Enea Bastianini delivered a solid performance aboard the Desmosedici GP #23, finishing in third place. Bastianini had a strong start from seventh position on the grid, climbing up to third place by the first corner of the race. The Ducati rider #23 managed to stay in contact with the leading duo during the opening laps, but gradually lost ground as the race progressed. Despite this, Enea was able to manage his gap over the chasing pack on his own, securing third place at the finish. This marks Bastianini’s sixth Sunday podium of the season.

These were the rider’s words: “This third place is in line with my expectations before the race. This morning, and also during the race, I continued to struggle with a lack of front-end feeling, which is crucial on this track, despite the progress made in the warm-up. I tried to be aggressive and stay in contact with Pecco (Bagnaia) and Jorge (Martín), but I was losing 2-3 tenths per lap. I preferred to avoid taking excessive risks and going beyond the limit. I can still be satisfied with third place because we kept improving lap by lap over the course of the weekend.”
